New to the challenge? Catch up here.
Hello! How is your week going? Have you been busy organizing your spaces? When I was looking through the links left last week I totally saw the progress you were making through each of the steps. Gosh there is a lot of purging going on! Whoot! I’m just so proud of you all, way to go gang!
I am also so encouraged and excited by what I was reading on your posts:
Mary from Living a Sunshine Life had this to say in her post:
I’m so excited about the progress I’m making downstairs! I can’t wait to see what I’ll come up with next. It seems the more I clean and have an idea for the room, the more things seem to click and make sense. I’m getting more creative with the space and having an all around great time! I can’t wait to see the finished project and how well it compares with the image in my head.
Choosing Abundance wrote in her post about making some purging decisions:
I’m very proud of my work in the room this week. I probably spent about 10 hours in there clearing, sorting and purging. But it wasn’t all about blessing others. I found some home goods from Bed, Bath and Beyond that we had intended to use but really did not need. It was hard to let them go but that store took them back and gave us full credit. We were able to purchase an item we have needed for several months but did not have extra cash for so it was a win-win! We made over $50 returning those items and I found a pile of change totaling almost $1 in that room this week as I cleared out bags, boxes and baskets!
April from Moore Magnets commented:
I am so happy with the progress that I am making in my office/living room … that I even cleaned out my closet and purged about 30%-40% of the stuff in there! This challenge is making such a difference in my entire house … It has not been an easy week, but I am so glad that I pushed through my roadblocks and kept going!
How great is that!
Need some more inspiration? This furnace room that Power Home Solutions is working on has received a lot of loving in the way of a big ole purge party.

See how motivating pictures are. You are going to be so happy you took those before pictures. If you are feeling discouraged this week, just go back and look at those pictures. We tend to forget how much work we’ve actually done and it’s hard to see progress while were in the midst of it. So let those pictures speak for themselves. Then make sure you celebrate how far you’ve already come. Please don’t beat yourself up with the coulda, shoulda, wouldas. Tomorrow is a brand new day. Don’t give up now, you’ve got this!!
Seriously I don’t lie.
You’ve got this.
Maybe you didn’t hear me.
YOU’VE GOT THIS!
There I feel better now 🙂
So let’s hear it. Share your progress with us today. Even if it’s not all roses and skittles, sometimes it just helps to talk it out. What are your stumbling blocks, what are your successes?
Make sure to check back next week as I will be sharing the challenge questions I’ll be asking each of you to answer for me in your final link up post.
Once again I want to give a great BIG shout out to our fabulous sponsors. To see all the terrific prizes involved, check out the official challenge page.

Thanks again Laura for hosting this challenge! I posted my progress from week 2. I made some progress this week but got sidelined by illness so I didn’t get as much done as I hoped! One more week! That last post is gonna be a bear with all the before and after pictures! lol

Thanks for asking April as I forgot to mention it. It’s going okay, it’s definitely easier now but I still crave it whenever we go out to eat. Still haven’t had any though 🙂
