Hi friends, I hope everyone had a wonderful week! I’m heading out of town this week to the Allume Conference and am so thankful that my husband isn’t the type that needs meals prepared in advance for him. He’s a terrific cook (and so is my daughter) so they will do just fine. I did however ask him what he planned on serving and I will get the groceries for them before I leave.
It was so nice to have an easy menu plan week last week. I really needed the break after the Thanksgiving holidays and a week of company. My husband was also out of town last week so that’s how I got away with not cooking meat meals 🙂
Free Recipe ebooks:
So this week I have a couple of free recipe e-books to tell you about. First some of you might remember Jami from An Oregon Cottage. I shared her free Summer Dinner Menus ebook with you awhile back and now she has released her Autumn Dinner Menus ebook.
Also last year I told you about another free ebook and I thought with Thanksgiving coming up for many of you that I’d tell you about it again. Janelle from Comfy in the Kitchen has a Thanksgiving recipe ebook out that I think you’ll really like.
It’s a great recipe book and it’s never too early to start preparing for the holidays 🙂
Thanksgiving Free Printables:
So speaking of Thanksgiving, here is a great compilation of 50 Free Thanksgiving Party Printables. Who doesn’t love free and these are awesome!
Have a wonderfully organized week everyone!
If you’d like to follow along with me while I’m away, I’ll be on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
My Husband’s Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Slow Cooker Ham & Potato Casserole
Tuesday: Spaghetti and Meat Sauce

Awesome links! I can’t wait to check out the free Thanksgiving printables. LOVE! Have a great time at Allume. I was hoping to go this year, but built a chicken coop instead. 🙂 I am saving now for next year. It sounds wonderful! Can’t wait to hear all about it!

I’m heading to Allume as well. I can’t say the same as you about not having meals prepared for my family. I still have small children and my husband works a lot. We’re bringing family in to help in my absence, but I have to have dinners planned and lunchboxes packed. My son has severe food allergies, so I have to make sure that all the bases are covered. I don’t want a phone call in PA from the emergency room.
Regardless of the harried preparations, I’m excited for the conference. I’d love to meet you!
