Posterous: Share Photos Privately (and easily!)
I’m not a technology superstar so I’ve partnered up with someone who is in order to bring you the latest and greatest in the technology world as it relates to organizing and time management. Every couple of weeks Carley Knobloch, a technology lifestyle expert from Digitwirl, visits us to share some fun yet informative videos on various technology products and services that can help you get organized and simplify your busy life.
Today’s Digitwirl:
Carley is introducing us to a new photo site today. I haven’t given it a whirl myself yet but I did want to share it with you as it sounds like a great way to organize and share photos with different groups of people. Posterous Spaces allows you to create different secure permanent “spaces” that you share with whoever you want. Your pictures are only accessible to those you invite to each space. So whether it’s work pictures, pictures for family or simply pictures for different groups of friends, now you can share them all separately and privately. They’ve also got a mobile app so you can publish instantly to your Posterous Space. Sounds organized to me! Let me know if you decide to give it a go.
Notes from Carley:
How do I share photos, let me count the ways: Blogging (a bit of an endeavor), Facebook (doesn’t offer enough privacy), and Flickr (a bit overwhelming for the occasional photo share). Is there a perfect way to share photos easily (and privately) with select groups.. and can I do it from my smartphone?
Check out Posterous, the perfect solution to help you control who sees what, and share photos safely online.
