I did it, I did it and it was tough, tough, tough. I finally picked the winners of Org Junkie’s 29 Day Organizational Challenge! With previous challenges I’ve always had someone helping me with the winner selecting process but for whatever reason I decided to go it alone this time around. Let’s just say I’ve had better ideas and this was not one of them. Oh boy. A couple of weeks ago I actually got the list narrowed down to 13 and then I stared at them and stared at them, waiting to see what would happen. Nothing happened. My indecisiveness is ridiculous! I didn’t mean for you to have to wait this long but alas I have finally picked some winners. I think next time I will need to be more specific about pictures though because some pictures were either too small and/or not clearly described as to what was going on making it very difficult for me to get a clear picture of the space. Also if the before and after pictures were not matching shots it was really difficult for me to get the full effect in some cases.
I am so so happy I decided to ask the very last question to each of the participants. Your answers to the question “What is ONE piece of advice you’d give to someone else to encourage them on their organizational journey?” were awesome! I’m going to compile them all in a separate post because they are too great not to share. So much inspiration that is for sure!
So thank you to everyone that participated, your willingness to put it all out there to create change for yourself was also very motivating to many others. Win, win all around! Way to go!!

Congratulations everyone! I, too, have kept my area clutter free — my husband even commented on that fact. Woohoo for me!

Great job and congrats to the winners! Lots of inspirational stuff!
And like the two above, my kitchen is clutter free still!
Michelle says
OMG, Thank you!!! I have to say that our Garage is STILL clean, now we are working on other parts of the house 🙂
Sharon at Momof6 says
No Waaaaaaayyyyyyy! My big basement challenge won? Really? I am SO excited!!!!!!
I am so proud that I started with my absolute worst cluttered mess in my home, because tackling the basement first has made all the difference in the world on how I am decluttering the rest of my home. As I tackle new areas- the kitchen, the bathroom, and today- the media cabinet…nothing is making its way into basement storage. It is all being dealt with where I find it. And this never would have happened if I had started somewhere else in my house.
Laura- I want to thank you so very much for providing both the inspiration and the motivation to tackle this assignment! Next up…. the 2nd worst space- my garage! Care to run another challenge in April? 🙂
Warmly,
Sharon

Thank you Laura!
I am certain that I wouldn’t have had the motivation to stick with this project if it hadn’t been for your challenge. Other than two very small boxes that are waiting on labels, the craft room is still as tidy and organized as it was on the final day of the challenge. And the box of dishes is gone!

Laura,
Everyone wins! Homes have been changed for the better and women have been encouraged by the progress they made. So much inspiration.
Sharonatmomof 6 – thank you! DH has been wanting to declutter the huge attic and I’ve been inclined to want to do the more public areas. Your thinking made me understand his thoughts.
Thanks and congrats!
