I’ve partnered up with technology lifestyle expert Carley Knobloch, from Digitwirl, to bring you some fun yet informative videos on various products and services related to technology that will help you get organized and simplify your busy life.
Today’s Digitwirl:
Thank goodness for Carley is all I have to say because I’d never be able to bring you information on sites and sources that help you streamline and coordinate life otherwise. I’m soooooo not a tech savvy girl but Carley is and this week she is back with a video explaining the website Manilla. Manilla is a FREE online service that allows you to manage bills, financial accounts, travel rewards accounts and subscriptions all in one secure place. If you find these things hard to manage then this might just be the solution for you. A couple of weeks ago you might remember we talked about stopping unwanted junk mail and today’s site is definitely another way of reducing those horrible paper piles. Plus you can enjoy all the benefits of Manilla right from your phone…the mobile app is available for iPhone and Android. Manilla only open to US residents at this time.
Notes from Carley:
Remember a few years ago when you signed up for a frequent flyer account? You remember that number, right? Oh, and raise your hand if you’ve ever got charged a late fee for forgetting a credit card payment. How about having an online deal expire before you had the chance to take your belly dancing lessons? Who can keep track of all that stuff? Manilla, that’s who.
This awesome site and mobile app will keep track of all your utilities, credit card balances, frequent flyer numbers and even what’s next in your Netflix queue. Not only will it store all that information, and guard it with its life, it will even send you reminders so that you’ll never miss another bill payment again. And, it’s so clever it can even allow you to make those payments right then and there.
So now all you have to do is sit back and feel like the Goddess of Organization. Check out this week’s Twirl and see what left Carley in the dark about managing her busy life.

Manilla sounded so great that I went to join but it’s not available in Canada and they won’t be coming here any time soon! BooHoo. Has anyone heard of a Canadian site that is similar?
Laura says
Sorry Roz I should have mentioned that in my post. Will update it. Thanks!

I signed up for manilla after watching that digitwirl a few weeks ago. Although I haven’t been able to link all my accounts up, it’s very nice to have one place to go to see that stuff. Plus the fact that Manilla emails you to say you have a bill due. (It’s still in Beta form and will be for the next several months but it will only get better!)

This sounds awesome! I love that you can add in things like Groupon coupons, etc. All the little-bitty details that can complicate life!

Manilla seems so cool, the way you can sync up all your accounts into one place. So helpful, about to start adding my accounts now.
