Hi all, I’ve been away on vacation for the last week (didn’t want to announce it earlier just in case of any crazies out there) and I was pretty much unplugged the entire time. Thank goodness for being able to schedule posts. With my youngest starting grade one this week I’ll finally have some time to get my home back into some kind of order after a very busy summer. I have so many plans to be intentional with my days, but more on that later. Today I want to share with you my newest Storage Star. It is a great example of how to recycle a product to create an excellent storage solution.
Today’s Storage Star goes to the blog team of Staci and Marina at Just Sew Sassy for this very creative oven rack turned jewelry organizer.
Love it! And so simple to do too.
You could find an old oven rack at a thrift store or even the dump. Recycle, recycle, recycle. Organizing just doesn’t have to be expensive at all and this is a prime example for sure. Head on over to Just Sew Sassy for the details on how they did it. Congratulations girls on a job well done!

If you would like to nominate someone or yourself for a Storage Star to be featured here just send me an email at orgjunkie (at) hotmail (dot) com with either a link or pictures for me to check out. No blog necessary.

What a transformation! Talk about thinking outside the box…or, in this case, oven!

Love this idea! I was just thinking I needed a necklace organizer.

LOVE it Especially if you can find an older, smaller oven rather than the large racks they have now. What an easy fix!

This is so much nicer than the eighteen dollar plastic jewelry organizer I bought. I will def be using this idea.

I bought a rack that would normally go in the bottom of a roasting pan at St Vincent de Paul for 50 cents and used spray paint I had in the basement and some ribbon. I used a 3M hook and hung it on the side of my dresser. It is perfect. Thansk you so much for the idea!
