When it comes to basket, bins, containers of any kind I am the biggest dork there is. No joke. I get giddy with excitement whenever I’m around one and since I’m not filling containers in my house right now I need to get my “fix” in other ways. My newest all purpose tote has quickly become the friend of my dreams by feeding my addiction without a word of complaint 🙂 The dork part becomes very apparent when I swagger around the town showing it off with this cheesy grin on my face.
And lest you be one of the poor unsuspecting souls who happens to ask me about my beautiful tote I apologize in advance. I will talk your ear off and tell you all about how much I love it and how versatile it is. I will tell you how awesome it is that is has a strap as well as side handles to help me carry my load.
I will tell you about how perfect it is for library books because I can keep it in my living room as my library basket….
and then when it’s time to go to the library I just pick it up and go. No more transferring those books to another bag.
Or if you haven’t taken the opportunity to run yet, because you are just too kind and maybe just slightly amused by the drool presenting at the corner of my mouth, I will tell you all about how fun it is to take it grocery shopping.
The sturdy sides and bottom mean I can carry all sorts of heavy and when it’s not in use I can just fold it right up.
At this point your eyes will glaze over and you will start to back away. Only now I’m flying high as a kite and will follow you, oblivious to your panic and your need to flee. I will continue on with my adoration. “Do you want to touch it? Did I tell you it’s canvas and the whole thing is washable? Oh I did? Hey where are you going? Come back. You may not have noticed that the straps are adjustable…..oh drat do you have a tissue?”
Right now and for one week only purchase two Envitotes for $32.00 with coupon code 2FORENVI (regular price $20.00 each). Drool is free.

LOL you may be a dork my friend but it is one of the reasons I love you, I am also a lover of bags so I think this is fabulous except I am envisioning all the yarn I could pack into it lol

You are so funny! I have a hard enough carrying a purse, let alone a tote bag. LOL! But I do see the handiness and the versatility could make one weak in the knees! Hee! Hee!

Oh, what a great bag!! I totally love it for a library bag, we can never find anything big enough for all the girls books.

Love the tote! 😀

Great bag! Multipurpose is the best!
I had a purse once that people used to admire, with all these compartments, and I remember giving a “tour” of standing in line in the grocery store. 🙂

I actually bought one of these last week and it came 2 days ago. I already LOVE mine too!
I used it yesterday to cart my kids stuff to Music practice.
Then I put the library books in it. I love it because it fits under the chair sitting in our family room. (I actually measured to see if it would before I bought it)
Perfect!

I have about 4 of the EnviTotes and I love them. I use 2 for grocery shopping, I for my night school, and the last one for the beach. I also kow the owners of the company and besides them being super cool, they really believe in trying to make a difference in the world and the recycle bag is just the beginning!

I love this! Guess I’m a dork too! Thank you for sharing it!
Heidi says
1. You’re not a dork if you are preemptive and acknowledge it. Then you’re just cool and confident.
2. You should customize your tote bag! Appliques, embroidery, glitter, pins, etc.

Great tote. Looks better than the black, saggy ones I carry to grocery store. No, you aren’t a dork!! I have a messenger bag I got off a website, for free, doing reviews. I love it and I really don’t need another big bag but it’s useful!! So there! If you are a dork, then so am I cuz I like baskets for almost anything and I think I have too many! :0) Hugs!

LOL!!! That is the best product review I’ve ever read!! I must confess, when people begin writing about the ‘new, fabulous product’ that they got for free and we all absolutely must buy … I pretty much click on by. But not this one! Thanks! Informative and highly entertaining 🙂 I especially enjoyed ‘drat. does anybody have a kleenex?’ LOL!!

It does look great, but also looks like it sticks out far on the side (if you’re crrying it on your shoulder).

Love that bag – never seen one like it before!
I’ve been using my grocery totes for about 2 years now – and let me share from one dork to another something I just RECENTLY discovered. ya know b/c kids bagging groceries at the end of the checkout really are not trained on how to use them and get the best use of space in what they put into each bag – or rater leave out… don’t even get me started on how they randomly throw in a dairy product into a bag full of boxes… Grrr!
anyway..my brilliant idea… which your grocery photo reminded me of. I now load up my grocery totes AS I’M SHOPPING – inside my cart! cold stuff with cold stuff! and then save one spare bag of both insulated for cold empty and one regular one empty and when I get to the check out I put the bags up on the belt – and have the checker give one of my spares to the boy at the end and she then empties one tote and scans each item to go down the belt to him… done with that bag passes the empty down for him to use next.
WHY didn’t I think of this years ago!!??! 😛
hope you like my idea and others see it too!
Love from Texas! ~bonnie

If you are a dork, count me as one too! This is the coolest bag/tote I’ve ever heard of!! I cannot wait to get one!!
Kelly Tirman says
Okay I have to admit I have not been a fan of this $20 reusable “bag”. I have read EVERY OpenSky shopkeeper’s review of this bag and none of them won me over. However I think you just did!!!
I now get the feeling this tote would also be great for storing the baby’s toys – since I am constantly moving them from room to room and packing them up when we head out to see friends and family. I can see how this would work for her library books as well and could maybe even in the storage area in the bottom of her stroller.
nicely done!!!
Laura says
Thanks Kelly, that is great to hear! I’m always leery of these things too because I’m super picky when it comes to my tote bags. This one was a very pleasant surprise and the versatility is exactly what won me over 🙂 It’s very cool!

I have more canvas bags than I know what to do with, plus my Chico bags for shopping. I love the way these look – how do they wash? Do they hold up? Just curious.
Bins, bags, totes, containers, drooling right along with you!

I just tried to place an order for the EnviTotes. I encountered two problems. When I put in the coupon code I received the message that they were sorry but this item cannot be purchased with a coupon and deleted the coupon. So I thought oh well take one. Then I entered all info including CC # and clicked proceed to checkout and was sent back to log-in to check out. Said my email and or password was incorrect. Asked for the password to be sent to me and was told sorry this email is not located in our records. I really would like to purchase this item. Any suggestions as to what went wrong.
Nanette says
Love the bag idea. I have several different store bags that I use the same way – library books, carry stuff to the park for the kids, and of course grocery shopping!
Christina says
Margaret, I am best friends with the girls who created Envitote. Please send me your email address and I am certain the can correct the problem for you. They will hate that you’ve had this trouble, but they will be so pleased that the can correct the problem for you. It should be something simple.
Laura says
That’s so nice Christina, what is your email address?
