I have a serious problem with peeling potatoes because I’m left handed (that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!) and I was thrilled to find this post and video on the Econobuster site on how to peel a potato without a peeler. So cool!

as far as chore charts – i found this blog and we have been using her idea. my kids love it! it works well for children who cannot read yet and it give them a visual reminder of what they need to do.

I was inspired from the old shirt use link…
same idea..!!!!
no sew method!!!!….
take an old t shirt right side out push the sleeves inside.
take fabric glue and glue the sleev holes together. let dry.
take a 12″ ribbon and glue the middle of the ribbon to the t shirt. let dry.
put bags inside shirt and then tie ribbon to close the end. then hang the holder from the ribbon. to remove the a bag pull it through the the neckhole.
Not sure I’ll be able to get to all these links… But I have to say I read Amy’s note at Amy’s Finer Things yesterday, and I just loved it. Said so simply and yet just what I needed to be reminded of yesterday! :)
