This is perfect! Thanks for the brilliant idea! I will either look for some canvas bags to alter (Canada) or just sew some bags in fabric that matches my curtains… then I thought I might get my mother in law to embroider everyones names on their bags – parents and kids!! With four little boys, ages 2,4,6,8 we are forever looking for pencils and erasers to do homework and the younger ones always bring up little things/toys so this is PERFECT! Even for spelling list etc…

This is a great idea! We don’t allow “stuff” on our dining room table, BUT the smaller table in our kitchen is the designated homework & craft table. I could really use something like this for that area instead of having things just shoved aside into piles!

I am an elementary school teacher and I LOVE this idea for my classroom. We seem to get more stuff each year, but the desks don’t get any bigger. I could easily make these or get a wonderful parent volunteer to help out. I already use “under shelf baskets” http://www.amazon.com/Get-Organized-UNDER-SHELF-WRAP/dp/B000KKMNGY/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1263751201&sr=8-4 under student chairs to store textbooks. I am still in need for folder and pencil pouch storage…this just might be the answer! Thanks! :)

I love this idea. Our kitchen table always has someones books, crayons or something of the sort. The nice thing is I already have the extra bags from when we decorated our own library bags. Thanks for sharing!
