Where do I start?
Wow! Your “10 Ways to Avoid Organizing Overwhelm” is going to get hung up on my wall! My whole household is one big unorganized storage box! Where to start? So…, today I will start with my dresser!
Thank you for your informative 10 points! I will continue checking in on your topics!
What great tips. I like the concept you used – i.e., make a plan. This is what I do for my weekly chores, my deep cleaning, household organization, projects I want to complete, etc. I don’t set unrealistic goals, but I do get everything I want to do down on paper, and each day I assign myself small tasks that get me moving on my goals. Simply having set goals and tasks makes it so much less overwhelming!
Great list!
Something that I’ve found to help me, is to stop being a perfectionist! Even 5mins of decluttering, or organising helps me and my family! Also, take it slow, or you burn out!
Think I might go re-read your list a few times (I need motivation for today hehe)
I love these tips.
I organized my office for the new year and I am pretty excited about it. I wanted to move my office to an actual room but don’t think the hubby is ready for it yet.
I often find myself trying to organize too much and then I am that dreaded overload…
Thanks again.
These are fantastic tips! My husband and I are off this whole week and we made a “to-do” list for each day. I feel so accomplished when we stay focus and actually gets things organized and done. The only other thing I is put stuff in a box (in addition to the donation box) that I can sell on ebay. I have been selling our unused stuff on ebay for about 5 years and I love the extra money we get. Great tips and I look forward to learning from you site into 2010.
WOW, your site certainly has grown since I was last here!! I renovated my blog and lost your link but I’m glad to have been able to google you and actually find you! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Perfect! This post ties in with my goals for this year!
