So sorry. The pain must be nearly unbearable for them. I can’t imagine, although I’ve been with friends in this situation. I know Jesus is with him and you are right…Jacob and Jesus are smiling down on all of us right now. Still the pain is great. There is a great song, written and sung by artist Hilary Weeks called, “Just Let Me Cry.” She wrote it for a friend who lost her 8-year-old daughter. It is a wonderful song that brings comfort along with the tears if you can find it on the internet somewhere.
