Great job! Don't you feel wonderful when you've completed a task like that? Now, I need to go organize my pantry - ugh!

Thanks for sharing!! I have been pulling pieces of paper and other things off my computer desk daily and throwing most of them away. Just stuff and it will be clean one of these days. Keep at is what keeps me going. I know it will look great and I'll love it!!!
It's like organizing my time. Don't use the computer so much and I can get more things done. I need to go do laundry now so I can have clean pants for work tomorrow. Thanks for the inspiration, Laura!!

While a big project can be really satisfying, most of the time, it's the little things that can not only feel great, but urge you on to more projects. Each little step is one in the right direction. Just did my office 'junk' drawer that had been bugging me for a year-feels so good to look at it now - though I really wish I had a 'before' shot!!

I love the great feeling of accomplishment I get when I do a small organizing task. My daughters call me OCD when it comes to organizing, but they sure do like the results! :) I'm so there with you! Great job!

My first ever comment. I couldn't pass it up. Last night at midnight I was working on my bookcase that resembled your sister's. Just like you said it didn't take long and I feel so much better. Your web site is very helpful. Thank you, Sharon

Tis true, tis true!! I work full time at our local Middle School & during the school year our house just barely stays under control. This summer I've been doing little projects like this. I've been going through the 3 high-use rooms (livingroom, bathroom & kitchen) and boy has it ever made a difference. Is it perfect? No. But it makes the whole family feel good & feel like we can work better at keeping up. And that's what counts!!

Very true - it just a matter of getting started. When you are still in the thinking about beginning stage, the job can seem very overwhelming. You see the job as being a total hassle and this is what causes the procrastination, but once you get started you get on a roll because you see just how easily the job goes.
