Mini-Mom Timeouts

The other day I caught myself saying to my youngest, “honey please be quiet, I told you not to talk while I’m thinking”.   Huh?  If that’s not a signal I need a mini-mom timeout I don’t know what is. {read more at The Juice}

Good article! as always your writing is great. I KNOW I need mini Mom time-outs…it’s allowing myself to do it is the hard part. Thanks Laura!

I’ve given myself time outs before and the kids think it’s the strangest thing. Sometimes it better for all of us.

yeah I found myself saying a very similar sentence the other day “HoneyGirl mommy asked you to be quiet so I can remember to drive… “

Hi Laura! I was just reading a great book (Discipline without Distress) and they talk a lot about a mommy time out. It’s funny to see you blogging about it. I hope all is well with you!

I just said this exact…and I do mean EXACT thing to both of my small children in grocery store yesterday!!! Time out time!!! :)
