Thanks for this! I am becoming more and more convinced that my collection of half digital (spread across many discs, 2 computers), half print (shoved in an unorganized box) needed a little order to it! I’m feeling slightly inspired :)

Oh my word, this is so timely! I just completed Day 1 of a big Spring Clean up (see the pic on my blog!) and realized that I have a million photos and keepsakes that I have GOT to do something with. If I could accomplish one thing by the end of the summer, this would be it! Thanks!

I’ve been getting my digital photos organized for the past few months. I found the easiest is to immediately download from my camera, label by date and what I took pictures of. I organize by month and year. I really like the idea of burning to a CD and keeping those somewhere for easy access.

Oh Laura, I feel so bad. I will not be linking up this month. Too busy to deal with 15 years of photographs, even though it needs to be done. I’m glad for the resource lists, though. thanks!

P.S. Just remembered there were some interesting comments on this post on my blog :)

E.g. people saying I’m asking them to cut off their arm because I asked them to declutter their photos LOL
