Great question Marcy! First it's NOT wrong if you don't like them...your way is the right way provided you can find what you need when you need it and are able to define some limits and boundaries for your stuff in some way. I find containers really do that for me. I wrote about it here:

http://orgjunkie.com/2007/11/establishing-limits-and-boundaries-with-containers.html

Anyway I hope that helps you see why I love them so much.

Thanks!

Just a question.. but why does everything have to be in a container?

I don't like them. I think they look plasticky. I would rather look at the pretty packaging of items. Is this wrong? (I dislike labelling more... unless it is school supplies and clothes that go to school/camp).

I understand the one for the hairbrushes (they roll around and generally look messy and tossed about) but I need to be sold on the benefits of containerization a little more before I buy into it 100%

haha same here.... I just found out there's a store called... The Container Store. I know, apparently I've been living under a rock because I never knew this... I haven't been to the store yet, it's probably a good thing. I might have a stroke. :)
