Going cold turkey

Although I’ve known for a little while it was still hard to read the following official email that came out this morning.

A Message To Our Subscribers

It is with a profound sense of sadness that we announce the cessation of publication of Organize Magazine.

We are deeply grateful for your support and feel that we had a wonderful magazine because of your input. Being organized was goal we all shared and we loved hearing how you worked to make that goal a reality. You were a valuable part of Organize and we’ll miss your energy and enthusiasm.

We are working hard to find a suitable substitute for the remaining issues of your subscription. Please be aware that the transition could take a few months to complete. Should you have any questions, please email us at info@organizemag.com.

All our best to you,
The Organize Magazine Team

Dear Organize:

We were only together one short year, yet it feels like forever. I’d come to rely on you in so many ways. Not too many friends support my addiction like you did. You never scoffed or laughed when I showed you my container stash. Instead you introduced me to more containers and encouraged me to branch out and accumulate more. I could always count on you whenever I needed a fix. I needed that. I’ll miss that. I’m not sure where I’ll turn to next. I feel lost and scared just thinking about the “hit” that will not be next month. The shakes they are coming on strong now, I don’t know if I can go on. Please, please don’t leave me.

Signed,

I’m an Organizing Junkie

I’m so sorry! You’ll have to forge ahead, feed your addiction elsewhere, (and share with us, of course) and stand strong through the loss.

Laura I had to nominate you for an award. I’m sure you’ve gotten bunches but I love your blog and the kick in the butt it gives me to get organized. You can check it out if you like at my blog.

Now I know why I couldn’t subscribe this weekend. I wish I’d known about it when it started so I could’ve shared in the excitement of the issues. :(

I absolutely concur! I am truly sad about this news. I would like to be hopeful that with such a need for information on organizing, that someone else might pick up the mantle and continue the good work.
