If I had a trumpet, I’d totally be playing it right now!

When I walked into my daughter’s room tonight I found this on her table:

That my friends is no ordinary box.

That’s a box for storage.

A storage box made by cutting the top off a kleenex box.

Made by my daughter.

For storage!

Be still my heart.

Want to know what’s even better than that?

A storage box made out of a kleenex box WITH inspirational sayings on it!

I think she may be on to me though….I wonder what she wants :)

That is a really cute idea. So creative of her to come up with it. I’m going to share it with my girls…. maybe it will inspire them!

Oh yes, I am definitely showing Miss A this post!!! A little peer inspiration will surely go much farther than a pile of dumb old mom suggestions.

    It rubs off, eh?

Fabulous! Helps to know that somewhere down the road I won’t be directing all the organization. ;)

The box alone would be impressive enough but inspirational sayings too? Wow!

Wow, that apple didn’t fall from the tree did it? :v)

And what struck me is how neat everything is inside the box. Good for her.

I’d say the apple didn’t fall far from the tree - which will serve her quite well throughout life! And that’s a dandy idea actually, especially since I just bought about 99 boxes of kleenex, all in the same cute design! So when is she starting her own organizing blog?

That is so cute! Obviously you are modeling such behavior - you go! It’s nice that she’s going that route. I think I went the opposite with my mom, trying my best to be a slob, since she was always tidying. Hmmm…

This is a great blog and an excellent example of how blogging can be used effectively by organizing companies. I wish you had been at the presentation the other night - we could all have learned from your blogging experiences!

I love your blog! I am an organization-junkie-wannabe. I would love to have an organized, relaxing home…but I have no idea how to do it. I do believe, by reading some of your posts, I may get some ideas on how to make it happen.

That’s great! Isn’t it wonderful when your kids “get” you!! My 11-year-old just started her OWN blog, Tween Life. My husband can’t believe he now has 2 bloggers in the house hogging up the computer!! But I love having something else in common with her to bond over.

Oh wow! That is so neat!!! She’s following your example!

I know just how you feel! One day I caught Savannah reorganizing my tupperware cabinet. Why, you ask? She said it was fun! YES! I was excited too! :)

How sweet. I learned so much about organizing from my mom now I drive her a little crazy with it. Beware!

I’m new–I’m inspired–I’m totally cutting the top off of a Kleenex box. Great blog. I am going to attempt to put together a weekly menu. I’m loving your site.

How cute! Hopefully our kids grow up to be organized. I keep saying my son’s wife is going to hate my guts if she isn’t a neat freak because he is going to expect an organized house! I guess it’s possible that my kids could go anti-organized when they get out on their own but that will be their problem! At least I’ll know I did my job by teaching them.
