This recipe makes big, fat, soft chocolate chip cookies. It has never failed me. :-) The secret is baking the cookies for a longer time period at a lower temperature. http://heritageschoolhouse.blogspot.com/2008/05/best-ever-chocolate-chip-cookies-make-2.html

I am new, and trying this out for the first time. My sis in law introduced me to it, and, well, it doesn't seem to be a fad with her, so I am going to give it a try. Thanks for putting this out there.

Your menu as always sounds great. I keep cookies or cookie bars always in the island cookie stand for the family. They disappear so fast. But the family loves it.

Love the cookie jar. We don't have one, because then I'd fill it ... and eat them! :) Great menu, thanks! Kiy

Hello! Just wanted to let you know I'm joining Menu Plan Monday for the first time.

As for chocolate chip cookies, I use the Crisco recipe for mine. Here is a link to a recent cookie post of mine:

Laura, that Baked Teriyaki Chicken is really delicious, but SO sticky! I would strongly suggest lining your pan well with foil so that you don't have to scrub out the baked-on sugar. It's worth the clean up, though.
