I go through it at tax time, but some of these things have to be kept a certain number of years. People do hang onto way too much- pardon me- crap. I have no cabinets in my new kitchen. It's all deep drawers. Things are so much easier to get at and I use the baskets, etc. to keep like things together. I am so happy to have an organizing buddy... I collect all that,too.
