Sounds like a great recipe for the fall. I like the addition of squash. It’s a vegetable I like but often have problems getting the kids to eat. :P

I’m scared of slow cookers…. I don’t know if I’d want to leave the house with it on. Especially now that we have a pup who’s nose will smell it cooking all day.

My old roommate in college had one and everytime we used it, I would worry all day while in class that I would come home to find out my place had burned down. Are they really that scary? All the recipes I see for them look so good.
