Menu Plan Monday – Sept 3rd

by Org Junkie on September 3, 2007

in Menu Plan Monday

Hello my fellow menu planners! I’m not sure how many will join us today since it’s a holiday but feel free to join up later if you want as well.

This week I was all excited to try out some new recipes from my new issue of Simple and Delicious and then realized I had a few things to use up first in the freezer instead. Oh well gives me another week to drool over the pictures!

Tuesday the kids start back at school here but only for two hours. Wednesday is their first official full day of school. I’ve been a very busy girl this past week getting things organized and I’ll be posting about that a bit later on.

Here’s what we’ll be eating this week:

Monday: Pork Schnitzel, potato patties and roasted veggies
Tuesday: Beef & Vegetable Noodle Bowl
Wednesday: Yankee Doodle Sirloin Roast (I’ll do it in the slow-cooker) with mashed potatoes and carrots
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Fajitas (what would be my menu without these, but look at me being wild and crazy and having them on Friday instead of Monday, woohoo!)

Have a great week everyone!

Hey, I’m homeschooling on Canadian time! =P Most public schools have already started here, but we’re starting on Tuesday, too.

And OOOOH, Monday’s menu looks oh-so-good!! Do you make that from scratch?

No unfortunately I’m cheating and using the premade. Hopefully it will still be good.

Your menu looks good – we are trying a new recipe this week too – Pineapple Pork in the crockpot.

I think I can hear you now singing my favorite song…hi ho,hi ho, its off to school they go…. Mine started last week and it has been some adjustment.

This is our 3rd week in school Are there any SINGLE menu plan Monday bloggers out there? I’d be interested in seeing how they do it, because I am frankly sick of eating frozen dinners. Please contact me through my blog.

I’m so excited that I found you! I have been making a menu plan for months and I’m happy to get to share it with someone!

I forgot to mention that “I’m new”!! I’m not new to menu planning – been doing it for over 15 years! But it is still a good discipline. Thanks for hosting this opportunity for us to share with other mums in this area of our lives.

I’m new. I’m interested. I’m behind.

I do plan my week’s menus (on Sunday). I want to participate (steal) and about other family’s menus. I signed my name and linked to a post where I noted my menu for this week. How/when do I participate for next week?

L-O-V-E this idea!!
