Welcome home. I must add that I LOVE the eagle creek packing folders that Ms Ricci uses. I think I bought one for myself about four or five years ago. Just one, for a city trip. My main reason was that I hate ironing and if you pack them well in those things you don't need to iron them again. My mother, who travels for business two to three times a month, didn't get my hints that she should really by herself one as they were so handy, so I bought her a set as a present for Christmas. She now is an avid Eagle Creek fan. I have also given a set to my husband and on her last birthday to my mother in law. These things are unbelievable. They reduce your packing volume, keep everything organised, and make it easier to unpack! I usually take along a plastic bag. When I go home I put unused clothing nicely back in the eagle creek and used clothing in the plastic bag. The contents of that bag gets dumped in the laundry basket immediately. The rest goes back into the closet. Ehm... that last might take a while...

I always end up coming home with more "stuff" than when I left! Why is that? I'm sure I can find the same stuff at the store at home, but its always more fun to play show-n-tell with the stuff when you get back, LOL. Good luck!

Ok...I just went and read that link for packing light, and WOW I could never do that! I admit, I always pack more than I know I'll need, but it helps to be prepared, right? LOL You should see my carry on bag. I hate to be bored, so I carry on my Bible, a book, magazines, and a knitting project for good measure. The knitting project usually comes out, but then I spend the rest of the flight looking at the "Air Mall" catalog on the plane. LOL

We just got back from a week long vacation and now I have to find places to put a few purchases as well as finish unpacking. It seems I am avoiding it by cleaning, running errands and blogging. LOL

Packing bothers me way more then unpacking. Don't know why but it does. I am glad you made it home safe. I will guess it will take you one more day to get it unpacked. The Chaos will bother you too much not to unpack it.<br/>http://www.gardnerdragonflydreams.com/
