I need something like this for my composter since I live in a forest and don’t get garbage pick-up. Our composter is constantly getting attacked, turned, mauled, and sat on. A sitting bear can cause a lot of damage. LOL :D

I have to admit when I saw that you had spent $200.00 on a garbage can I thought you had lost it, but seeing and knowing that the garbage can is bear proof made me think maybe I am the crazy one for not having purchased one myself. Having to clean up garbage on more than one occassion, I think you made a very wise choice. Victory is yours!

Oh for sure but for the most part black bears are pretty scared of humans. Seems the bears in my town though are getting a little too use to humans for my liking.
