Menu Plan Monday – June 24th
As you can see, I’ve added a new banner above. Please feel free to use this one or the apron one. Either or is fine by me. I’m still playing with the colors on this one though because it’s blending into my site a little too well :)
Yesterday was my birthday. I can’t say it was a great birthday but my daughter was sweet enough to make me a cake. Here is a picture of it:
Mjpuzzlemom asked me for the Meatball Hash Brown Bake recipe I had in my menu plan a couple of months ago so I will be sharing that recipe in a seperate post after this one.
This week we are having:
Monday: Zucchini Sausage Bake
Tuesday: Slow Cooker Savory Pot Roast (carried over from last week)
Wednesday: Grilled Tarragon Lime Chicken
Thursday: Leftover Buffet
Friday: Sirloin Caesar Salad

Last week was a doozy and now I’m under orders to “rest frequently” until the baby arrives. This week’s meal plan consists mostly of things my stepdaughter (12) can assist with, pantry items, and no strange ingredients my husband wouldn’t recognize at the store.
My husband is not an oaf, that’s not what I’m saying. He and I just have a vast difference of opinion on what constitutes adequate descriptors when making out a list for the grocery store. ;)

My favorite night of your menu is leftover buffet :o)… speaking from the mom’s eye view. We did that this weekend, just had a smörgåsbord of all the leftovers from our visitors. Yummy.
