Menu Plan Monday – May 7th

in Menu Plan Monday

Hey menu plan friends! Hope everyone is well.

Recipe hightlight from last week: Pizza Pasta Toss – delicious!!
I’m feeling a little burned out and will probably be taking some time off this week from posting (although I do have one quick post to do after this one). I want to dedicate my attention to judging the 30 Day Organizational Challenge. I’ll definitely be back for MPM next week though so don’t you worry :)
So here is my menu for this week:
Tuesday: Spaghetti and meatballs
Thursday: Leftover buffet
WHAT’S ON YOUR MENU THIS WEEK?

*Important – Please link to your individual MPM post instead of your home page. Here is how you link to an individual post if you’ve never done it before: right click on the time at the bottom of the post you want to link to, click “copy shortcut” and then paste it into Mr. Linky. Welcome to all new participants. Please let us know you are new to MPM (so we can be sure to visit and welcome you) by putting “I’m new” or “First one” in brackets after your name in Mr. Linky.

So glad you liked the pizza pasta toss! Now that it got your seal of approval, I will be making it!

I can’t believe so many of us wait here at midnight with our finger poised on the “enter” key of Mr. Linky! It’s great!

Hugs,

Sherry

Hi Laura,
I am sure you are tired – it has been a busy time lately. Thanks for all the encouragement you have given – the 30 day organizational challenge was a huge success.

We are trying some low-fat recipes this week.

Hope you have a great week,
Stacy

Have a blessed week of rest from the ole blog, I did the same the week before last and it was nice to get some extra stuff (organizing) done around the house!

Blessings,

Thanks for organizing this, it’s a great idea.

Yum! I bookmarked those Pizza Pancakes…can’t wait to try those!

And Laura, Annie would definitely love to be pen pals. You know, if I’m remembering right, they even have the same birthday! Anyway, I’m sorry I didn’t e-mail you…for whatever reason I couldn’t from your link. So here’s our e-mail address:

I hope your daughter’s still interested, because I know Annie would be thrilled!

Bored with packed lunches for the children? I am and so are they! This is my attempt to see three empty lunchboxes come home from school!

A habit only takes 21 days, I guess I have started one for myself! I hope others are blessed as much as I am by planning their weekly menu!

I’ve seen this logo for Menu Plan Mondays on so many other sites, and I kept thinking when I would run into it, “I could really use that habit.” Thanks for hosting the effort, and I’m looking forward to being a frequent contributor.

Hi Laura –

Thanks for hosting this each week! It’s such fun to meet up with other fellow menu planners!

My menu is up — nothing very original as lots of my menus didn’t get used last week.

Seraph May 7, 2007 at 3:17 pm

I have to add my grattitude for your hosting MPM. Not only am I enjoying it, but it was just the kick in the butt that I needed to get back on track with my menu making.

Thank you.

As for feeling burned out… I think we’ve all been there before and understand completely. Go. Stay off the internet (or at least away from your blog!) for a while. Most jobs have vacation time, and running a blog like yours is a “job” that you’ve worked hard at. Go have and enjoy your vacation!
