Menu Plan Monday – April 2nd

Welcome! The joy of menu planning is this…on Tuesday I forgot to put the pork roast into the slow cooker so I moved the chicken recipe to Tuesday and had the pork on Wednesday and the reason I don’t menu plan on the weekend is this….on Friday I forgot to put the chili in the slow cooker so I had to move the chili to Saturday….needless to say I’m not serving up any crockpot meals this week…lol.
Instead, I’ve been dreaming of BBQ, so hubbie, despite the 8 foot snowbank on our front lawn (seriously I can’t believe it either…it is April for heavens sake…I’ll have to post a picture later because this girl could use some sympathy!!) is dusting of the grill for us this week and I can hardly wait.
Have a great week everyone! Don’t forget if you are new this week to let us know in the Mr. Linky when you put in your name put “first time” or “new” behind it.
My menu for the week:
Monday: Spaghetti Pizza Casserole with green beans on the side
Tuesday: Grilled steak with baked potatoes and spaghetti squash
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Saucy Southwestern Pork Chops served with rice (from the new May 07 Light & Tasty!)
Saturday: Mommy’s day off!
Sunday: Happy Easter dinner with dear friends and daughter’s 10th birthday! I’m making this for dessert…yummy!
WHAT’S ON YOUR MENU THIS WEEK?

My menu was nonexistent last week. I need to get back on the bandwagon. But, I confessed all my sins in my post.

I hope to fit the chicken and broccoli braid into one of my menus, looks delish

My Second week Yeah! I am glad to hear that even veteran organizers can get off track. It makes those of us who are less organized but trying feel better. :) I also am giving myself permission to have an out, or be able to move things around if I need to. It takes the pressure off.

Do you mind if I use your Menu Plan Monday Button?
