Me in a nutshell….

in My Life

I’ve been challenged by Professional Organizer, Ariane at Neat Living Blog to show a picture of my untouched desk. So here it is unedited…where the action happens and where I spend way too much of my time! Not too bad, a few papers I am working on but nothing major. Some of you may remember it from when I did a post on how I organize my office.

Ariane was inspired by a personality test she took which happened to say she was messy and disorganized. So for fun I also took the test and I think mine came out pretty much bang on especially the disfavored careers part….or better known as careers I’ll never do well at because I need, um, you know….TALENT!

Here are my results:

ESTJ – “Administrator”. Much in touch with the external environment. Very responsible. Pillar of strength. 8.7% of total population.

If you’ve never had the opportunity to take these types of tests you really should sometime. You can find some here. It is definitely interesting to see what they have to say about you!

Interesting—I used to test as an ENTJ, but today I tested as an ESTP. The N/S was always borderline. Interesting. I may take another. I love those tests!

Laura, I’m an INFJ. I posted a blog about my results and how they affect my organizational skills… I also gave you a shout out. =) I’ve been reading your blog for over a year, but I only recently started my own blog.

Thanks for all of your insights!

Your work area looks really good compared to mine and I clean it up often. I just spend too much time at the computer.

Take care.

Hey! Thanks for stopping by! I just sent Hubby out for more plastic containers, I am on a roll! This has been really fun after I got over the overwhelmingness (isn’t that a great word!) of it all. Next in line is the Dreaded Walk In Closet which isn’t nearly as bad as the Ultra Dreaded Sewing Room was. Thanks for hosting this!

Okay, now this is super-freaky, Laura.

I am also an ESTJ – told you we were kindred spirits. How did yours come out? Strong? I’m very strong – there are no middle-of-the-road scores for me.

I’ve been trying to straighten my desk after every shift. And it’s been working so far.

Thanks for sharing your organizing projects. It’s great motivation

Wow. Love how your desk looks. Can’t wait ’til mine looks the same on a consistent basis. Thanks for the encouragement and pointers on how to get my task accomplished.

It would be scary to post a photo of my “untouched” desk! Yikes!
Happy Easter, Laura!

This sort of cracked me up, made me look around my desk and be glad I didnt have to take a photo of it – theres never a day that there arent papers sitting, as I hate hate the constancy of them, the minute I put them away, there are more. My least favorite thing to do in running a house. I did love the list of things you possibly like and dislike – I suppose some people actuallly like strange/weird people?

I’ve been tagged as well, same topic, different tagger. Yikes! It almost feels like an unexpected guest coming to your house.
I will post sometime this week about it–there’s a bit of a story that goes along with it!

Laura, your desk is great! Thanks for participating in the challenge…it was so neat to see how everyone organizes their personal workspaces AND to see how personality types influence that. You will be, I mean, you ARE a great professional organizer!

Best,
Ariane
