Wednesday is the day…the deadline to have your challenge complete! Are you going to make it? You have until 11:59 pm pacific time on Wednesday night (May 2nd) so don’t give up yet, you still have time! In preparation for Wednesday I need to pass along a few instructions that will hopefully make this final process as painless as possible. I don’t want it to be complicated so if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
Please refer to the original 30 Day Organizational Challenge post for a complete list of all the prizes and judging guidelines.
I am happy to announce that Professional Organizer, Marcia has kindly agreed to join Lara and I as an official judge of this challenge. I thank both of them in advance for what I know is going to be a really tough job!
Late Tuesday evening I will post two separate posts with two separate Mr. Linky’s. One will be for the whole room category and one will be for the small space category. Here is where you need to pay attention….only enter your completed space into ONE of the Mr. Linky’s. You choose which category you are entering your space into but it has to be one or the other. If you have done two separate spaces (a whole room and a small space) that you want to enter than please prepare two different posts and link up each individual post into the applicable corresponding Mr. Linky. Clear as mud right?
Your final post must contain BOTH your before and after pictures so we don’t have to jump back and forth between posts. Also in order to ease the judging process even more I ask that you each answer the same following five questions:
1. What was the hardest part of the challenge for you and were you able to overcome it?
2. Tell us what kind of changes/habits you have put into place in order for your area/room to maintain its new order?
3. What did you do with the “stuff” you were able to purge out of your newly organized space?
4. What was the biggest lesson you learned from this experience?
5. Now that you have completed the PROCESS, do you think having and keeping your space organized will make a difference in your life?
I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to see your finished spaces and celebrate your achievement along with you.
Thank you again to all our participants. Good luck!
Getting organized means freeing up time and money to spend on the things that really matter…..spirituality, emotional well being, physical health and loving relationships.

Yikes! Only 2 more days?! Where did the time go?! I still have to cut my shelves down to size, install them, get some containers to put things in, see if I can possibly get DH to get rid of some more things, and then post it all! Looks like I’ll be busy tomorrow!

Yay! I have an extra day! For some reason I had it in my head that the deadline was Tuesday. *BIG SIGH OF RELIEF* I am soooo glad I have that extra day! Now I can go to bed! =P

That’s sooo funny! I was just like proverbs31…thinking today was the final day! I might just make it with the extra day…hooray!

Meh. I’m so out of the challenge. Having spent the entire last week severely sun burned and still recovering from that, I’m just… out. Though I do plan to make up the time I lost later when I’m less crispy.
Will you be doing another challenge soon?

I’m not finished yet. Hopefully I will be ready by Wednesday. That is 11:59pm Pacific time right?
Hope you have a great day. Enjoy all the organizing success you have inspired in everyone!

I don’t know if I’m going to get finished in time. I’m going to have DH help me with the shelves when he gets home tonight and might possibly be done. If not, it’ll still be fun seeing everyone elses finished projects 🙂

Um, yeah, I failed. I couldn’t find the right storage (and I put it off too long), but I will continue thinking about it.

I can’t wait to read the results! Very fun & exciting.
I cheated and hired someone to clean my home before I got hom from Europe. Two weeks was a long time to come back to dirt 🙂 I was pleasantly surprised and thankful to walk into a clean house.
Happy May Day!

I won’t be able to complete the challenge by the deadline, but will post more pictures when I get it finished and will let you know!
Thanks for the inspiration!
