40 Clove Garlic Chicken

in Recipes-Slow Cooker

OH.MY.WORD. As freaked out as I was at the thought of 40 cloves of garlic, THIS recipe is absolutely delicious. WOW!! You have got to try it. Strangely enough it doesn’t taste garlicky at all. In fact the garlic becomes sweet and so tender that I was even eating it straight up, it was that good! The smell in the house as it was cooking all day was amazing too.

Thanks to Susanne for a wonderful recipe that we will definitely be eating again in this house!

I’ll be back later to tell you more about what happened with my ongoing picture saga…let’s just say it ain’t pretty and I’m still fuming.

Thank you so much for your sweet comment on post yesterday. Only the mom of a food allergic child could understand the fear of leaving her child in someone else’s hands. I’ve been working with this school since my older son started last year, and will continue to work with them (CLOSELY). They know how strict I am, I just hope they follow my lead when I’m not there. Thanks for the offer to e-mail you too. You can be sure I’ll be taking you up on that. I’ll be needing some tips on keeping him safe in the school enviroment.

I saw her recipe for 40 clove chicken and thought, wow, that’s a LOT of garlic. Based on your raving review, I think I need to run back to her place and print this one out.

HI laura,
I’m so glad you let us know that the garlic chiken was good. It will be on my menu next week.

I just posted an update of sorts on my blog. I’m not sure what this “phase” of organizing that I am going through would be called – I is kind of funny – kind of not :)
I just want to throw everything away.

Hope you have a good day. I’m scared to know what happened with your photos. Hope it is not too bad.

Hi Laura. I came across you through Janeen at Our Story. I saw that your son has food allergies. My oldes has a dairy allergy. I too, like Janeen am panicking over preschool in September. I wanted to say ‘hi’. I’ll be back. Right now I want to go check out that recipe.

:)

I’m a garlic fanatic, so I went and printed this one out. I’ll try it out next week. After I stock up on gum. :)

I printed this one out for Brian to see. Maybe there will happen to be a whole chicken in the freezer next week and just maybe I’ll leave the recipe out and just maybe I’ll get a great “deal” on garlic! Hmmmmm I wonder…
