Thankful meme

Char over at Casual Keystrokes tagged me for this super easy meme with the theme of three things we are thankful for:

1. I’m thankful for the opportunity to be at home with my kids right now and for the blessing of being able to take my time to carefully consider future employment options.

2. I’m thankful for a God who has plans for me greater than I could ever imagine…for the blessing of one more child that I didn’t even know I wanted and now can’t imagine life without.

3. I’m thankful for the opportunity to go away for the night with three amazing girlfriends on Friday in order to attend the Beth Moore simulcast on Saturday. We will enjoy dinner, fun, laughter, great conversation and fellowship. This will be my first night away from my 15 month old.

Selecting just three things was tough but I’ll leave you with those three this glorious (despite the rain) Sunday and will leave this tag open for anyone that wants to participate (I’m too wimpy to put anyone on the spot)!

    That is SO CUTE! Can’t wait for mine to feed himself, he’s just so lazy - if I pass him a biscuit, he’ll just look at it & move his head towards it instead of taking it in his hand and feeding himself!

    Great three! In fact, if I didn’t know I was on your page, I’d swear I was reading something about me!! I am SOO thankful for being able to stay home with my children. I am sooo thankful for a great God, with plans for a third child that I didn’t plan but can’t imagine not having, now that I have him. And I JUST got my first night away from him (who will be 15 months on Wednesday)which was also for a Christian women getaway, just not for Beth Moore. :P

    That night was GREAT by the way. Hope it goes as smoothly for you too! I know you’ve got to be excited.

    So now let’s see if I can come up with three different ones. ;)
