Oh my…have I been working hard for you!! Oh yes I have!! I’ve been busy labelling all my old posts and organizing them onto my sidebar under the Categories section. I’ve tried to narrow it down as much as possible without getting all crazy like with say 300 categories…..even still I have 19 which still may be too many. Let me know what you think. I’m really hoping this makes it easier for you to search my archives. I still have a bit of tweaking to do but I am hoping to get to that today sometime. Thank you so much to Erna of Sweet Serenity who helped me figure out how to get those label catergories onto my sidebar in the first place because seriously I would never have figured it out on my own. I really appreciate it Erna!
The other thing I have to tackle today is to start on my taxes but that is boring and I will more than likely do whatever it takes to find something to organize in order to put off doing that mundane task. I mean I would much rather re-organize my tampon drawer than do my taxes, wouldn’t you?

Now surely there has to be some way to thinking of filing taxes as organizing? Think about organizing all that information into one place. Think about organizing all the papers into the filing cabinet once you are done and not having to mess with it anymore! :) Is any of this helping?
Cool beans and good job with the categories in the side bar! It looks so… organized! And it doesn’t look like too many. Not by a long shot. I’ve been thinking about doing that myself, but I’ve been putting it off. LOL. I did on my homeschool site, but like you were talking about, I think if I tried to categorize my main blog I’d have WAY too many! ;)

It looks very nice ! “Organized” I would say ! Me too I did a lot of “decoration” work on my blogs, I changed all the headers, colors etc. Was quite a tuckle !

Good job! I did that for my tacke two weeks ago and also feel that I have too many categories. What I’m now doing is trying to rename another category to incorporate the categories with only 1 post.
I’m not obsessing about it but just as things occur to me. Like on my main blog I had Ramblings and Personal life and I combined those two, you know???
Do the taxes and tell yourself no more organising (your reward) until it’s done! That’ll get it done faster than anything else, if you’re anything like me. LOL
I need to work on my categories. Half the time I forget to categorize in the first place. While the other half, doesn’t really fit the category I put it in. Its a work in progress!
Your categories look great! As far as the taxes go; I finished mine up the third week of January…it’s part of my to do list disorder. The second (literally) that I had all the pieces I needed. I did them online, e-filed, and put everything in a labeled folder and filed them away…BIG checkmark on the to do list that day.

I’m another of the ones that does my taxes as soon as I have all the information that I need. As long as you have everything “organized” then it won’t take too long. ;-)

My taxes are done, man! Not bragging because I didn’t do them. I refused. I have been doing them for the last 12 years of marriage… I needed a year off!!!

LOL about avoiding the taxes. :) Thankfully my husband does that since we itemize. I don’t think I could handle much beyond the basic form.

Awesome! I personally think that more categories is better, because the posts just come up as a big list.
I have done most of mine, but still have to label some of my older posts.

Categories look great…taxes (boo hiss)…(My accountant will thank you for reminding me to call him.) I would organize my tampon drawer…but I already did that last time I wanted to avoid some unpleasant chore. lol

Of course! I just organized my tampon drawer a couple days ago and it was a blast!!! Not the sort of thing I want to post pictures on though so it will have to stay hidden away for only my pleasure.
