Menu Plan Monday - Feb 26th

In honor of my love for aprons, I give you my new banner above. I hope you like it but not to worry if you don’t because knowing me in a couple of months I’ll be changing it again!

I hope everyone enjoyed a fabulous weekend. I enjoyed very much getting away with my girlfriends for fellowship and fun. Beth Moore’s simulcast was absolutely amazing! Wow!!!

The new Taste of Home’s Simple & Delicious recipe magazine (April 2007) is out on stands now. I am so addicted to this magazine it’s not even funny.

I’m trying all new recipes this week and don’t be shocked but I have no crock pot recipes on the list (gasp)…just wanting to be wild and crazy and try something new.

Here is my menu for the week:

Monday: Hawaiian Chicken Bake (thanks to My So Called Perfect Life), served with Roasted Red Potatoes
Tuesday: Crab ‘n’ Penne Casserole (S&D April 2007 Pg 16)
Wednesday: Pizza Pancakes
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Mexican Pizza

WON’T YOU SHARE WITH EVERYONE WHAT’S ON YOUR MENU THIS WEEK?

I am so glad you had such a good time with your girlfriends on your weekend away. It is always important for the mom to recharge. I know when I do I am a better person when I get home.

Your menu looks fabulous. I am definitely going to be looking into some of the recipes you have posted.

I’m so glad you enjoyed your weekend! A wonderful, loving friend told me that people notice when they lose a limb, but they don’t when they lose their soul. So wise of you to take care of your soul, while having a day out.
Thank you for the new banner. Feminin and inspiring.
I am a big fan of aprons. I try to buy at least one every spring. Let’s say it’s my own spring ritual.
Your menu is deliciously exotic! Enjoy!
    And ave a lovely week.

Oh my word - my friend would love that banner. She is the only one I knew (before you) who loves aprons like that. A pity she doesn’t blog but I must phone her and tell her LOL

I have been CRAVING for pancakes so I am definitely making that next week (or maybe I’ll break the rules and do it on Friday). Hmm - will have to think about it.

Hi, I am new to this menu plan monday. ALthoug I am not new to menu planning =). But I am not sure I did everything right. I downloaded the picture to my computer and then onto Photobucket. Is that what I was supposed to do? Or was I supposed to link to this picture? And should I provide in my post a link to this site (or through the logo?) Thank for correcting me if I did it wrong.

Going to be a tough week this week. I almost listed as Fibro Flare Leni! Lots of pain, which means not a lot of kitchen time for me. When I get this bad, my hands don’t work well, and dh prefers I stay away from flames and blades. ;o)
