When you first wrote about this I had a hard time getting a picture of it in my head, now I know what it is. I put up a white board that everyone hates. They complain....I can't understand what's on it...ugh!

This is wonderful! I do a picture version of this for my little ones. Ours is more of a "here's what we're doing today" list. I thought they'd outgrow it, but your idea is perfect for when they are reading!

So simple and yet most of us probably would not think of it! Great idea. For me this would really work for Saturdays! There would be no more excuses!

I like this! I already do this to an extent, I just started making lists in the morning for my daughter and hanging it on the fridge with a magnet. It helps a LOT. But I really like the idea of having a permanent board for it. Much better! Good idea!

Great Idea! I once had a student whosse mom did a similar thing for him. He was special needs and she hung 5 small white boards in a row in his room and wrote out everything for his week. Then he would erase as he went along. It really helped him to feel secure in knowing what he needed to do. Many kids NEED to know what is coming up. If your kid is having trouble in school, a communication center such as yours is a big step in the right direction.
