Menu Plan Monday – Nov 20th

Well hello! Another week is upon us and it’s a whole fresh start! This week I am gearing up for a special trip to visit my family in Ontario and I can hardly wait!!! I leave on Saturday though and I have so much to get done before I go! I’ll still be hosting Menu Plan Monday next week but not on Monday, Dec 4th.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to make Barb’s pumpkin cookie recipe than you really must. They are fantastic and the best part was I didn’t make them….my dear friend made them for me! So yummy! She even substituted part of the white flour with whole wheat and they were just excellent…thanks again for the recipe Barb and of course to my girlfriend for making them for me!

The best best part of this upcoming week is my baby boy is turning ONE on Wednesday!! If anyone has any great 1st birthday cake recipes, please please share them with me.

Here is what we will be eating this week:

Monday: Beef fajitas

Tuesday: Slow cooked San Francisco Pork Chops served with perogies and corn

Wednesday: Slow cooked Beef Stew

Thursday: Mediterranean Chicken and Sausage served with rice and broccoli

Friday: Leftovers

Have a great week everyone and a Happy Thanksgiving to all my blogging friends over the border! I’m sure I’ll be jealous of what you are eating this week!

WHAT’S ON YOUR MENU?

I’ve been wanting to try those cookies; but I really wish I had someone to make them for me this week! That was a sweet friend to do that.

Have fun on your trip, if it’s near Toronto, maybe next time we could have coffee. Or you could join a few of us bloggers for our monthly Kelsey’s night!

My menu is up! This is an odd week for us, with Thanksgiving in the middle, but planning ahead makes me feel much more in control of a crazy week.

An easy week to plan. Thankgiving is right in the middle as is my husband’s birthday. So I’ve tacked on next Monday since my MIL will be here and that way I won’t have to shop for food that day.

    Happy birthday to your baby!

    Hi everyone,

My menus are up for the week. I’m afraid they’re somewhat boring, with lots of leftovers and repeats, but some weeks are just like that.

Thanks, Laura, for hosting this. Hope you have a wonderful trip!

As usual your menu sounds great…and by the way my family LOVED your Hashbrown Bake…loved it. Miller even ate it. My birthday idea you may want is….a Rubber Duckie Cake…the mold is from Hobby Lobby..or Michaels has them…and then a punch bowl with blue punch…and rubber duckies floating in it…..pretty simple….but cute. Miller turns one 11/29…Have you weaned yet?
