Hello! Today I’m featuring a recipe I’ve used in the past and one my hubbie really likes.
Tender and Tangy Ribs
3/4-1 cup vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic glove, minced
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 lbs. pork spareribs
1 tbsp oil
Combine all ingredients except spareribs and oil in slow cooker. Brown ribs in oil in skillet. Transfer to slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low 4-6 hours.
Taken from the Fix It and Forget It Cookbook Pg 145.

OH WOW! We do ribs on the grill quite a bit, but I’ve never tried them in the crockpot. I love hearing about specific recipes from that cookbook that others have tried (I love Fix It & Forget It, but it gets overwhelming to go through it, looking for a recipe to try!) :)
Oh yum! My husband will be so glad I found this recipe!
Laura, this sounds delicious. I think I saw ribs on sale this week. I may have to go get some and give your recipe a try! :) Thanks for sharing.
Do you cut the ribs into small pieces in order to fit into the slow cooker??
