Snapshot Meme

Jennifer over at Snapshot has tagged me for a new meme she has created for the kids to answer. In honor of her daughter’s 8th birthday and inspired by one of her daughter’s class assignments she has named this meme the Snapshot meme .

Here are the answers given by my daughter, age 9.

1. Something I do well:

Horseback Riding

2. Something I’d like to improve on:

Science

3. My favorite food:

Macaroni and cheese

4. Three words that describe me best:

Funny
Kind
Sensitive

5. My happiest moment:

When I was told that I could go to horse camp for the first time

6. The most important thing in my life right now:

My baby brother

7. Then to the moms: Were you surprised by any of the answers?

No I can’t say I was really surprised by any of the answers although for something she does well I was sure she would have said piano. I think it is so sweet how much she adores her baby brother. She originally had her Nintendo DS as her most important thing in her life right now (she saved up really hard and bought it with her own money) but then I let her read Katrina’s little guys entry and she said “oh I wished I had put my baby brother cause he’s way more important than my Nintendo”. What can I say I let her change her answer. I’m sure the love won’t last when he starts getting into all her stuff….lol.

I’m going to now link this up to “Take your Kid to Blog Day” that Blest With Sons is hosting every Friday and since today is Friday I’m right on time!

Join in if you want. TGIF!

Oh! My daughter loves horseback riding too. She just doesn’t have much opportunity for it. She would be incredibly jealous of your daughter. Camp for horseback riding sounds like a lot of fun!

Yeah–Amanda might have said her little brother, too, because she does treasure him. But, you know, birthdays are really important, too!

I just love reading those little people’s happiest moments. It is such an insight into them.

Very sweet! Little brothers are pretty special, aren’t they? Although, I must admit, I wouldn’t have been entirely surprised if Camden had mentioned the Nintendo DS, either!

I agree with Jennifer - I think the “happiest moment” question is the neatest one - it really gives us insight into our little ones.
