Okay I’ve been tagged by Shalee and since I’ve never been tagged before I thought I’d better do it. I LOVE books, I love the smell of books and I LOVE to read. Only problem is I don’t read books with big words or that are terribly complicated. They hurt my head. Lately with three kids I read more magazines than anything. This meme reminds me of the page in Oprah’s magazine where she asks her guests to list their favorite books and most of the time the chosen books I’ve never even heard of…..I call them “smart” people books and I’m not one of “them”…LOL. Anyway I’ll give it a shot.
1. One book that changed your life: For this one I would have to say “Special Foods for Special Kids” by Todd Adelman and Jodi Behrend. You see my son has MANY food allergies and without this book to get me started I don’t think I ever would have learned how to cook for my son.
2. One book that you’ve read more than once: “If Tomorrow Comes” by Sidney Sheldon. I read this when I was younger and ever since I’ve wanted to be a con artist!
3. One book you’d want on a desert island: Definitely my Bible.
4. One book that made you laugh: Any of the Sophie Kinsella Shopaholic books. LOVE them. I can sooo relate!
5. One book that made you cry: The “Notebook” by Nicholas Sparks. This is one of the most well written books I have ever read. It is such a beautiful love story. I cry every time.
6. One book that you wish had been written: Well I am anxiously waiting for Sophie Kinsella to finish “Shopaholic and Baby“. It is due out next year….I wish she would hurry up.
7. One book you wish had never been written: Gosh so many here, I couldn’t just list one. I use to be a person that once I started a book I would have to finish it no matter how bad it was but now I say forget it…I don’t waste my time.
8. One book you are currently reading: “Preteen Wise” by Gary Ezzo and Robert Bucknam. I have read both “Babywise” and “Childwise” and have found both to be helpful and insightful parenting books with a Christian focus.
9. One book you’ve been meaning to read: Dr. Phil’s “Family First“.
Well there you have it. I tag Jenny, Shari, Sister Sarah, Annie, Tajma and whovever else would like to play. It wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be!

Hey Org Junkie don’t forget to tag Tajma as she is the book queen. Come on I dare you. Good to hear you are back is the princess back this weekend? S
Okay done, lets see if she gets in on all the fun…lol. Yes princess home again.
Yay Laura! I loved reading it, plus, I have a couple to add to my list. I read shopaholic, but in all actuality, she drove me nuts with her thinking at times. Had she ever heard the word No before? Oh, that’s the realist in me…
Thanks for playing, and if I knew you hadn’t been tagged before, I wouldn’t have made you fall down. Sorry.
Hey Shalee! I think the reason I relate so well to the shopaholic books is because I have sooo much trouble passing up a bargain….I can talk myself into it every time. Yikes! Don’t worry about making me fall down…I only got a few bruises!
Okay so I am a little slow how do I answer your tag thingy? I think I need a lesson on how to work this thing I still haven’t figured out how to do a fav list either so sad to be so slow!
Hey Tajma, just copy and paste mine into your blog. Can’t wait to read it. Laura
I’m working on mine tonight! Hopefully will post it tomorrow!
