If you have been following my blog you will know that I have been trying to tackle my insurance video for some time now. I had been putting it off and putting it off. I knew it was important…..in the event of a fire an insurance video eliminates any discrepancies about what you owned or didn’t own…..but still I put it off….thinking that it could never happen to me. Well the other day I was cruising through blogland as I usually do and I came across the story of Chris and Jenni. Their house burned down on July 12, and they lost nearly all of their possessions. I’m sure they never thought it could happen to them either but it did. Please check out their blog and the Help Page they have set up. It could happen to anyone! Let me tell you that is all the incentive I needed. I immediately went and got that darn video finished! Today I will make sure it gets put in to my safety deposit box. I may never need it but I feel better knowing it is there just in case. For more Tackle it Tuesday participants, visit Five Minutes for Mom.

I’ve never heard of an insurance video, but it sounds a great idea. Thanks for sharing. Blessings.
Never heard of it, but it sounds like something that I need to do. Thanks for sharing such a great idea :)
HMM, what an wonderful idea, I too have never heard of one, but with the Tomas Kinkade paintings we have, that might be a wonderful idea!

Wow. Thanks for sharing that idea. I will look into doing that as well. I’m glad to hear that you were able to tackle that. I will keep that family in prayer.
I made the video but haven’t made it to the safe deposit box yet, so I guess it’s not doing me any good, huh?
