As promised here is my menu plan for this week. Please keep in mind that I like to keep things simple yet healthy if I can. Often my recipes come from the cooking magazines by Reiman Publications like Quick Cooking (QC), Light and Tasty (L&T), Simple and Delicious (S&D) and Taste of Home (TofH). Saturdays and Sundays I don’t usually plan in advance.

Wednesday Slow Cooked Italian Pork Chops (QC Sept/Oct 02 Pg 49) with rice and broccoli

I’m first, hooray! Makes me feel special. Now…I actually put this together as a draft yesterday, so it’s the second one down when you go to my site. I wish I knew how to put it on top, LOL!

Laura, what a great idea! Now, I have a meme-type idea for each weekday, oh, except for Fridays…anyone know one for Fridays? I have an idea for one, but I just don’t know…it’s too scary starting one of my own…I mean, what if no one else thought it was a good one. Plus, I’d need a graphic…too scary…

What a great idea! I always do a menu before I go shopping. But am alway stuck in a rut for the same things every week. So this will give me ideas for future weeks!

Y’all are just CRACKING ME UP with all the Mr. Linky comments and problems! I know you’re being serious and all, but some of the comments are so funny … why??? Because MR LINKY was invented by a man. Sheesh! Of course there are going to be some kinks! If it were invented by a WOman it would be perfect. See? Now, don’t you find it funny too?

What a great idea! This week will be weird for me since we have out-of-town family and we’ll probably eat at my mother-in-law’s house most of the week. But I’m going to bookmark you and participate next week!
Menu planning has saved me! I use the cookbook Saving Dinner and I love it! I don’t even have to think up the menus because they are already made up complete with shopping list.
Yay, it’s working now :) Thanks for the great idea.. I thoroughly enjoyed my burger tonight … especially the part where I wasn’t scrambling around 5 p.m. wondering what I was going to make for supper!
What a fun idea!! I’m not this organized but maybe eventually this will inspire me to think ahead a bit. I also think it will let me know whose house to stop by when for some great eating!! :-)

I’ve been doing menu plans for years and posting them in the message forums at our family website. I don’t think anyone reads them, or cares, so I think I would really like to start posting them in my blog instead. :)
